The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I like Drogba's attitude in the game, and I think Chelsea did well.

Did Di Matteo learnt that tactic from Mourinho or did Mourinho learnt from Di Matteo 2 weeks ago?

Anyhow, this John Terry, KNNB......

At first Terry claimed he was innocent by saying: “The player checked his run and piled into the back of me. He put his weight on the back foot, that’s why my knee went up. I’ve not had a booking in the Champions League this year. I would not deliberately strike another player. That would be madness.”

But after watching the incident on an TV replay, Terry admitted: “At the time, I was bewildered because I was trying to protect myself a little bit, but looking at it on the replay, I’ve no complaints. I’ve let the lads down. I deserved to be sent off. I tried to protect myself and raised my knee, but realise I should not have done. I’m not that type of player."

Congrats to Chelski... they done something that United were unable to do on 2 occasions in recent year
Give them respect when its due; minus JT... Albeit he wont have any worries about his slippery boots in the Final now!

Ha. 2 of Spain's best teams came up short when it mattered.

Looks likely that bayern will triumph this time..... But I get a sneaky feeling penalties again for the finals?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Last week's intense game between Real Madrid and Barca probably had taken its toll on both clubs.

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

Why is everyone thinking that Bayern is an underdog against Real Madrid?

Re: The Barclays Premiership / Champions League Thread

I think Chelsea will win.

Ok let's start a bet. Winner wins good health and loser wins good luck.
