Re: The best RFT
I thought the purpose of RFT is to improve high speed safety, rather than for the convenience of not having to change wheel ourselves when encountering a puncture. And the compromises are harder, heavier and costlier tyre, with incidental benefit being less worry when travelling in unfamiliar territory.
So for those who likes to travel at autobahn speed, better to have RFT. Otherwise, normal tyres plus spare wheel or tyre repair kit or both.
For me, I travel out of town frequently and really do not want my other half to be stranded with a puncture. RFT would allow her to drive the car to a tyre shop without having to change wheel or use the tyre repair kit, both of which I do not think she would be up to.
Hence wondering which RFT would offer the best grip, handling and comfort, among the RFTs available here. So far only heard of RE050A and CSC3 have RFT versions, both around $500 a piece. Anyone know if F1 Asym 2 comes in RFT version?
