Is this price fair?
rodders;679070 said:You'll need to do it at a specialist if it's the last 2-3 molars. A GP can't and will not wanna do it becos it may get complicated as the canals may get tricky. Be wary of GPs that say they can do it for you. I have friends who have their last two mloars done by a GP but ran into complications some time down the road. Just pay that little bit more for the peace of mind.

Presumely they're using ceramic . If u want
A more economically dentist ( strongly not recommended)
Can try neighborhood Q&M. But it's brutally painful
Experience as I was told by my reservist mate.
I did mine at GPA, painless experience , even wisdom
Surgery.

An implant is covered by a crown. the impant is the portion that placed in the bone. So you are effectively still biting on your crown supported by an implant instead of your natural tooth.

If the case is complex or the GP is not comfortable doing molar endo than they may refer to the specilaist.
cheers.
rodders;679100 said:Yes. There's no gurantee for success even from a specialist but the rate for one is generally higher as compared to a GP. No specialist would gurantee success. I was told by my specialist that the success would be increased after the second or thirs year (can't remember exactly now).
I did a total of four root canal surgery and crowning over a period of two years. I kept going back to the same specialist cos he's good. The procedure was totally painless (only my wallet felt the pain after four procedures). He was formerly the head of the national dental centre at NUH and he was treating all our ministers and presidents. Considering his reputation and experience, I personally find his charges reasonable.
