I used this for 20K... Good gripe n road noise is reasonable. But when going for tyres change, was recommended RE001... Hmm was told that the bridgestone is better. Was as good if not better. Anyway for the "Tokyo drift" movie, the rides are wearing T1R haha

T1R is a good set of rubbers & some may feels tat its on par with AD08 / RE11. T1R has good grip on dry & wet but wet corners do take extra attention as may slip. Noise level is actually softer than AD07 which is a plus sign for drivers.
Do note tat such performance tires have low treadwear rate. Meaning it wears off faster than intermediate tires.
Given the increase of rubber price, I rekon tat T1R would b e next bext choice of tires to go for (If u r looking into peformance) Last know place for reasonable price is @ e shop opposite geylang police centre. They carry alot of new / used rims @ very affordable prices too..

Hi, just to share.
T1R r far more better than RE001 due to compound / side walls. RE001 r close to performance tires but still under intermediate tire range. If u r looking into normal street usage, RE001 is good enough.

Some shops still carry JDM ones & some carry MIC ones. So do becareful when getting one.
Check with e shop b4 purchase..

Its my 2nd day on Toyo T1R. It dosn't sound as bad as what the internet review had. Noise level wasn't as described as unbearable. I could feel the firm grip during hard cornering. Soft wall was indeed soft during hard cornering you could feel. Wear and tear wise no comments until i wear it after sometimes, price wise also quite reasonable.
Overall rating 7.5/10.
