Twitchy Handling and tramlining E93 325

Hi

I've noticed that i'm always having to make minor adjustments to my steering when i'm driving straight. I've had my bushings and control arms changed recently and even had my alignment check twice.

Tramlining is quite prominent too when the roads are uneven.

I've had this car for 2 months and coming from a Kia Forte, I'm not sure if this is considered normal handling for a BMW E93.

I'm on PSS 19/35/235 and 19/30/265. I've read that BMWs are rather sensitive to tyre types so I'm not sure if my tyres are the issues here.

I'm on PSS 19" 255 + 275 without these issues so likely not tyre type as you put it. A lot of people on this forum also on PSS. Strange issue since you checked alignment and balancing as well; asume camber setting is also checked? Only thing I can think of is too high tyre pressure? Check yours against recommendation for your car.

I could be overtly sensitive to this as I don't have a proper benchmark.

I think the recommended tyre pressure is 250/270

I've pumping 260/280. Is that considered a lot over the recommended?

i had this same problem of yours too. I thought it was the handling. Not too sure thou.

If road is uneven or there's a bump, the steering will turn slightly depending on how bad the road is. if i'm driving fast, the car feels like the steering is loose not firm in taking bends

I've pumping 260/280. Is that considered a lot over the recommended?

Open driver side door & have a look at recommendation for your car which should be on the frame.

Had the same issues, changed m3 front control arms and steering tie rod and a proper alignment. My car feels a lot better. Not perfect but better.
U should also check if ur shocks are worn

Usually it's either the tires or the offset of the rims.

How old are your tires ?
