Hi,

I am just wondering any one here have issues on claims for faulty parts with TWM??? My car has a sensor fault that kept appearing and i went to them at least 3 times to retify the problem. First, they reset and ask me to try again, after that was done, the error came back again and i went to them...they checked and now change the left sensor to the left from the right and vice versa and ask me to TRY AGAIN!! what is the problem of changing the faulty part when my car is under their warranty??? Any bros have this experience??? Really waste my time to bring the car here and there........

I had the same experience with them. Mine was the ignition coil. They were so reluctant to have my faulty one replaced and kept switching with another used coil even though their diagnostic machine had confirmed with them where the fault was. They wasted 2 hours of my time playing this game of ping pong with my coils. I was so pissed with them , in the end I simply left the place and went to my regular workshop to have my coil replaced. A simple 5 mins job. wtf?

Re: TWM Warranty

I was thinking since they intend to sell warrantys.....they should honor it as who will be so free to go claim for things not are not faulty??? it's really crap!!!! i am sure i will have to go back ONCE more to get the stupid sensor replaced!!!! and i also heard that BOSS motorsports do not want to work with them on warranties and not their authorised workshop ......

Just wodering if it's more straight forward going to their appointed workshops like BVO and Boss?

Re: TWM Warranty

jialuck. me too. went down last fri to check on my ATF leak. hoist the car up, remove cover, told me the pan gasket look very new and there is no leak. hopefully, they are right.

i think i read somewhere in the booklet stating that for the warranty to be effective, the car MUST be serviced by them at the recommended interval. anyone can confirm this??

Re: TWM Warranty

Yes, the vehicle must be serviced and maintained only by their panel of approved motor workshops otherwise the warranty will be void as claimed.

Anyone can confrim BOSS and BVO are no longer their panel of approved motor workshop? But i remember seeing their names on the booklet....

Dear All,

I just joined this forum and this is my 1st posting. I hope the originator to this thread won't mind that I use this thread.

I am thinking of buying a 2+ years old 3 series. Need the advise from the experts here if I can purchase extended warranty from PML for another 2 years after the expiry of the 3 years warranty.

Many thanks in advance for the kind advises.

Re: TWM Warranty

if you purchased your used 3 series from Premium Selection at Kg Arang.....you should enjoyed another year of warranty from PML.

Re: TWM Warranty

What are the other available options ?

Re: TWM Warranty

Dear bros,

Thank you for the replies. I intend to buy the 3 series from a direct owner.

For Volvo cars, there is this good service from SM Motor that prior to 3 months expiry of warranty, SM Motor will send a mail to the Volvo owner to go for a major check up. SM Motor will replace defective parts at this major checks. Not sure if PML have such good practise.

Are there option that we can purchase extended warranty from PML for another 2 years after the expiry of the standard 3 years warranty? Thanks.

Re: TWM Warranty

1. PML does not sell extended warranty.
2. I have used TWM (aka Khang Motors) for several of my family's cars. Have been very happy with their service and ease of claims. My sister was also very impressed that TWM seems to be very generous. Dont understand why the negative feedbacks on them.
