I was drvg a Lexus IS250

For Lexus, it is likely to start from gear 2, which explains its smoothness. Those 6 speed box that BMW used before also starts from Gear 2.

For 8 speeder, it starts from Gear 1, which explains its jerkiness. Not sure? Get someone to drive u in MT.

Solution, modulate your throttle input to the extend that it is not jerky.

Otherwise, SELL it away.

confirm 8sp gearbox starts in gear 1 ... sibei jerky especially at low speed in carpark looking for empty lot

Gear change from 1st to 2nd is a bit jerkier. That is quite normal.

However if u are talking abt pulsation, that is a different issue. Might be pressure converter spoil liao..



Anyway, with the release of the alpina b3 f30, there will be a transmission rflash for the 8speeder auto. Just wit for that.
