unhonored BMW advertisement

Received an email on pml extended 5-year warranty availability on BMW cars.
After followed-up with the customer service (and being redirected around), eventually they came back to me saying that the advertisement was not being honored. How unprofessional of PML (as usual).

Been around their website to look for a contact point to sent out a "feedback" email. but alas, there isn't any contact point.. good job pml.

you are planning to takeup additional 2 years warranty or you buy new car and want 5 years warranty?

Come to think about it, is warranty really necessary?

If you are prepared to buy a car, drive it, repair it, then why pay high premium for warranty?

Maintaining a car as in servicing it and replacing parts when it is worn out (depends on your driving habits) is part and parcel of car ownership....please dont fret over it and forget about PML after yr 3 years.....go Boss, BVO, Juzz4car and others....they are quite worhy in servicing BMW rides....join the rest of the bros here.

fully agree that 1st 3 years warranty suffice. if there is any factory defect or lemon parts, the 1st 3 years is good enough to replace them.

having said that ... nowadays BMW parts worn out right after 3 years like year 4 and 5 a lot of parts need to be replaced does sound scary and worisome.
although, i'm not expecting like the old days that bmw/merc built to last for 10 years ... but parts start breaking down 1-by-1 right after factory warranty expired
