Is this even possible?

What gains are we looking at and what's the damage like?

If not, is there other alternatives?

Possible. Done before.
But not sure if anyone has dyno'ed pre/post chip.

It's an NA car. so I reckon don't expect more than 10% gains.
My aim was more about optimising the setup/smoothening the curves.

But that said - I've done a combination of things
And i feel like my humble N42 2.0L pulls like no tomorrow
(given what isn't under the bonnet)

(Unichip amongst other things)
Money well spent I reckon :)

I did mine w/ Visworks - Dynotune.
But other folks have done theirs with Milk (Propel)
Some others might've used independents. Unichip is universal afterall.

Alternatives?
Reflash - think both BVO & J4C provide this service.
Can't comment side by side, as I haven't them yet.

But I reckon they should be in the same cost/performance ballpark.
Except one is transferable down the road.

mind telling me what's the damage? If let say next time i upgrade to a 325i...can it be transferred?
