Urgent help on low Coolant warning

I noticed the coolant sign was lighted up for the past few hours. Not sure it is advisable to get the original BMW collant or can get the aftermarket ones ? Can anyone advise the number of types, the pricing and the number of bottles. Besides PML, can we get the original coolant from outside? Tha.

Re: Urgent help on low Coolant warning

If you want, u can just top up with normal tap water! :)

Re: Urgent help on low Coolant warning

guess you should top it up with a 50%-50% water-coolant mix, use one of 'em empty pet bottles, pre-mix it and leave it in the trunk together with the spare tyres.

Re: Urgent help on low Coolant warning

aftermarket ones are fine... more importantly, find out if, touch wood, any problem that may have occured..

Re: Urgent help on low Coolant warning

Please do not mix types pf ccolant. The car comes with original pink coolant stuff and mixing will give PML another reason to void warranties... tap water is the best bet and distilled water even better.

Re: Urgent help on low Coolant warning

pink color? hmm....but the coolant i bought from BMW is blue in color.
