i think an advantage of purchasing a used import is that the new 10 year COE allows you to spread your loan repayments over a longer period. useful for folks who need to stretch just that little bit more for their dream car.

Actually your loan term and parf rebate is only up till 10yrs from original registration. and the loan is only up to 70%

btw the OMV only for 8yrs even is a 10yr COE. Heard from car dealer.
so 2007 means left 8yrs for the OMV. is it true?

yes, this is true. ur countdown for calculation of parf rebates starts from original date of registration in the country of origin.

as for diablo's point abt 70% loan, im not sure actually. although i was told max loan tenure for these cars will be like current COE cars, ie remaining years of COE - 1 year
