Its based on end of parf rebate for the interest to be as per used car. i drive a used import, only reason i bght was bc i could not find my car model in the used car segment. omv is low but so is the price, need to compare at depreciation to see if its worth the price.

ok, then what if it's really owned by you... just that bought and registered in another country? then you decide to bring and reregister in sg???
i don't think the agent would be that bad, rite? at least i know hong seh will not say no to imported ferrari. then again, perhaps it's eurosports biz practice. lol

These ole guys really dont seem to know what they are doing.
I went to see the green gt3rs. Called before coming to confirm
1. address
2. whether the car was physically in the showroom
Some girl said yes to both questions. I turned up 1 hour later and when I got there, I walked into the showroom and no one was about. But the office upstairs overlooking the showroom was obviously occupied. We waited 10-12 minutes slowly scrutinising the car but on one showed up. Trooped up the staircase to find the girl. Knocked on the glass to draw her attention and told her we were here to see the gt3rs.
She makes her way down after 10 minutes to tell us she does not have the keys to the car and her boss is not around. I then told here we were the guys to called to say we were coming. And she replied" But you didnt say you wanted to see the car..." This one really gives that Miss Universe girl a run for her money!
Asked her whether she knew the OMV; blank stare.
Asked her whether she know selling price (which I knew from sgcarmart ad); blank stare.
Gave up and left. They dont have a hope in hell of surviving.....

you need to buy these cars from reputable dealers, there seem to be alot of new co setup to sell these cars, can have issues with warranty if they close up after 1 yr.

I personally dont have an issue buying one of these used imports if:
It can be serviced by someone competent (agent or otherwise)
It is priced correctly on a depreciation basis.
Let me give a quick example:
Porsche 911 Carrera 2S
Let's assume with identical specs, agent car is going at 30k per annum depre brand new and used ones that are 2 years old are going at 25k per annum depre.
If a new used import that was first registered 2 years agon is being sold at 20-22k per annum depre (regardless of the differences in the omvs of the used agent car and the new used pi car) then that is prob about the right price and a deal that can be considered.

Nice specs with ceremics, sports chrono, xenons and standard uk clubsport package including the fire extinguisher in the passenger footwell. OMV is 130k so with 7.5 years left on the car, I suppose you need to establish what annual depre should be for a 2.5 year old and use that for this car.
