Vibration(like engine want to stall) at traffic light

hello everyone,

this is my first thread and ive gotten a e90. Recently, i experience this problem where the engine feels like wants to stall when it is stationery( stop @ traffic and put to park). When i off my aircon it is even worse, can feel the car like want to break into piece. Anyway, have spend quite a sum to replace some stuff and also clean throttle body, after cleaning was ok and now the problem is back. Anyone experience this problem? Would need help from the gurus here! Thank you!

Check pcv for leakage? Pcv hose. Valve cover crack ?
Usually vacuum leak.
Idle rpm without aircon n52 e90 325 = 660rpm
Aircon on = 720rpm

@clemgoh thanks for the info bro! The rpm meter would flutuate and vibrate when aircon is off. When for inspection, nothing was detected. i will check on the few items you mentioned!

logically should show which one is faulty ( got 4 unless yours a 6cyc )

Hi BM bros, problem of stalling is solved! I checked it and it was the valve cover loose, went ahead to change then everything was good! UNTIL there is a major problem! Now while at traffic light, i felt vibration on the car floor and RPM fluctuate also. At one traffic light can happen 3 to 4 times at one shot. Then i replaced the MAP sensor, problem still persist , now when apply break, can feel the gear engaging and super loud, brake pedal also can feel, after let go and move okay, anyone has the diagnosis for this problem? Spend quite a lot of money on this problem liao

Umm, have went to 2 workshop diagnostic test doesnt show any problem, thats the weirdest thing ever!

If there no codes its prob the engine and gearbox mounts. Not expensive to change out notice height difference new is left right is old

OEM from Eng Soon $214 for 2x engine mount and 2x gearbox mount. Install meta quoted me $150. Remember BMW makes cars not engine and gearbox mounts so paying 2x the price for BMW branded ones don't make sense.

Isn't the car a sum of its parts .How much were the BMW ones.

BMW $80 each + gst X 2 gearbox mounts

Priced almost 6 months ago expect increase in price for some reason.

Yes a car is the sum of all its parts I agree. However no requirement to pay the bmw tax.
