Volk CE28N 19x8.5/9.5 5-120 35mm/35mm Ti Gunmetal

This is a set of Volk racing wheels specifically designed for the new 3 series, designated E90 chassis. The color is Titanium Gunmetal and the wheels weigh approximately 18 lbs each.

Any comments?

This set will look very nice on a white e90 although I wld prefer the rear offset to be closer to +30 like the Progressive MEs.

the CE28N has been ard for ages...just that recently RAYS added a new touch of color and fitment ranges for some conti cars like bmw, merc, audi, vw

The Japs probably finally realised that there is a HUGE mkt out there by conti owners for such light rims. What took them so long to come up with this strategy keke.:screwedu:

No doubt about the quality, but also prefer +30 for the rear and the rim design whether nice for E90? Haven't seen any photos in this forum.

yeah but then again, only in recent times people are becoming more wary of weight so their recent entry isnt bad timing at all...All they need is to consistently produce gd quality wheels with competitive prices. Those tuner wheel names are the ones to go down first in terms of sales volumes

The Hamann's, the ACS', the Breyton's are already down in sales in E90, E92/3 already....... I dun see the same kind of interests in E46 on these names.......

yep, it's changing...
they can design good rims to their specs but since they are OEM to reputable rim makers like OZ, BBS...the cost can't be kept low..that's the problem.

Not a fan of either, but do note that the ME's spoke extend all the way to the lip - hence the "bigger-rim" look.......

Me too, that's why still not decided on the ME. But still unable to find one with the offset i want. front +35 rear +30

Volk ME is very good in terms of quality, cost and offset for front and rear but I don't really like the design.
My 1st choice: M3 rims - Rear offset +23 - not suitable!
2nd choice: BBS GT - Rear offset +25 - not suitable!
3rd choice: OEM 269 - PML can't find this rim???
I guess the spec. for 19" OEM rim would be Front: 19x8 ET37 225/35 R19Y) (Rear: 19x9 ET39 255/30 R19Y)
May not be nice if the rear offset is +39, Any comments?

If adding 10mm spacers to the rear is ok I may consider to use the current 193M rims (front 8 x 18 ET34 and rear 8.5 x 18 ET37) and I can go ahead to install PSS9.

Ken, any advice? you are sort of mod expert.

I think OEM 269 is beginning to look better the more I see the pics (all thanks to Acupunch for spreading the virus!.. hehehe). The offset looks great for E90 and it will be very unique since it'll probably be the only set in SG...

For M3 rims, I think it may pay off to wait for the M3s to start filling up the roads. Owners are bound to sell them off for aftermarket rims.
