voltage stabiliser

i am currently driving the E90 320i. a few friends of mine had their car fixed with a voltage stabiliser. they recommended me this brand called z-stab. has anyone here fixed a voltage stamiliser in their BMW? also wat about a UTR hyper air tuner?
