For value for $$ upgrade, change rotor to Brembo. It comes in stock size and lighter than stock. Brake pad change to harder pad. Brake hose change to Goodridge.

90% complain due to looks and perceive lack of power because small caliper & no style mylo rotors
the remaining 10% perhaps hardcore drivers with hardbraking![]()
trackies ... that's a different category
MW;688528 said:Yah damn small how to make people believe its M5..,,thats why I changed to Brembo but after that realised the braking power even under normal driving conditions is awesome. I had a few near misses using stock brakes, which have very little stopping room if you are going fast and the car in front suddenly brakes. No regrets lah to change to BBK, whatever brand it is. Anything is better than stock
Confirm someone will come in to ask the anal question "Change brakes will void warranty?"
zorro;688545 said:Yum 5 must have BBK else will be a laughing stock. Yes your braking distance drop but hopefully the guy behind u also has BBK and alert. Best thing to do is to keep a safe distance and not trying to kiss other's backside.
wt_know;688600 said:you are damn right. having bbk risk kena rear ended.
i encountered twice that i hit hard on my brake ... the car behind jam brake & wobble as he did not expect my ride stop sibei fast![]()
Samuel Tan See Teng;688607 said:You can try hitting the brakes with your left foot instead of your right foot, that is really jam brake full stop..!!!
Pls do not do this when there is car driving behind you and passengers in your car. Sure kenna kissed backside or your passengers will scream...![]()
