Hi , Have anyone heard and installed VTTR brakes ?

yes i have heard. most friends with jap rides are using them. value for money.

but for that price, you should seriously consider the BMW PERFORMANCE BRAKES.

Why do u think E60 stock brakes sucks?

For value for $$ upgrade, change rotor to Brembo. It comes in stock size and lighter than stock. Brake pad change to harder pad. Brake hose change to Goodridge.

Re: VTTR brakes

U can consider other bbk like ATS, also quite value for money

Re: VTTR brakes

Stock BMW brakes are fantastic IMO
Perfect for road.

Re: VTTR brakes

sucks in look la ...
90% complain due to looks and perceive lack of power because small caliper & no style mylo rotors
the remaining 10% perhaps hardcore drivers with hardbraking :D
trackies ... that's a different category

Yah damn small how to make people believe its M5..,,thats why I changed to Brembo but after that realised the braking power even under normal driving conditions is awesome. I had a few near misses using stock brakes, which have very little stopping room if you are going fast and the car in front suddenly brakes. No regrets lah to change to BBK, whatever brand it is. Anything is better than stock

Confirm someone will come in to ask the anal question "Change brakes will void warranty?"

Re: VTTR brakes

Yum 5 must have BBK else will be a laughing stock. Yes your braking distance drop but hopefully the guy behind u also has BBK and alert. Best thing to do is to keep a safe distance and not trying to kiss other's backside.

You can try hitting the brakes with your left foot instead of your right foot, that is really jam brake full stop..!!!

Pls do not do this when there is car driving behind you and passengers in your car. Sure kenna kissed backside or your passengers will scream...:shoot:

Re: VTTR brakes

i'm not doing this to "test" the rear driver la
i was hitting hard on the brake (not jam brake yet) because someone cut into my lane abruptly while under estimate my speed
you are darn right about left foot jam braking ... left foot is not trained and will slam the brake 100% :D

Re: VTTR brakes

Just to share, I remembered last year while I was shopping for BBK, I tried lifting rotors of ATS and VTTR, same size, the VTTR was heavier.

Re: VTTR brakes

after I changed to Brembo and the workshop asked me to take back my stock brakes, I almost broke my back trying to carry them up.

Re: VTTR brakes

BBK is very good for rides with high horsepower.....cos usually stock is good when new....after a while....u tend to feel it's insufficient for emergency braking...get 6 pots at least....go check out those with Chrome color ......very striking and blink blink factor sure attract pple to take a second look at yr ride !! Happy modding.....
