Would be interesting to see the authorities' comments about the removal of the double yellow lines...
All I can say is, nice white F430! :nehnehhh:

Porsche, BMW, Mercedes, Jaguar, Mini Cooper and even a motorcycle. This fleet of vehicles belongs to a family in Bukit Timah and is parked under a private tent on public land outside their home.
The vehicles are parked along double yellow lines on the road in front of the house at Jln Bangket, according to STOMPer Guan Chye. "They even put a tent to shade their cars from the sun," he said.
The owners also rev the car engines often, "as if this is an F1 circuit".
The STOMPer is also annoyed by the noise from the maintenance of the garage, as the owners have been "hiring workers who use a vacuum pump to clean the road."
According to Guan Chye, this has been going on for months. The STOMPer said that he has reported it to the authorities in February and March.
He noticed that the double yellow lines were removed on Mar 14.
He raised several concerns over the issue:
"Is parking along double yellow lines a traffic offence? If so, why is this family shielded even though it has broken the law day after day for months?
"Is erecting a tent permanently to shade one's cars on a public road legal? If not, why is this family enjoying this special privilege for months?
"Why have the authorities painted double yellow lines on this road in the first place, allow illegal parking by this family for months, and suddenly remove them when someone complains?
STOMP has contacted the Land Transport Authority (LTA) and the Police for comment.
