When did you order the cayman? It will be interesting to know what kind of freebies stuttgart gives during the delivery (car mats would be nice). Look forward to seeing your white cayman on the road.

huh? Cayman is relatively common car, I see more Caymans than 335i.VenomX2;237077 said:Wah, awesome, name time and place.
Can't wait to see your Cayman too.
caySman;237074 said:. Freebies? LOL when I mentioned a discount it they told me that the guy who bought 7 porkers didn't even get any discount for his GT3.

LOL I'm in the sales line, some kind of salesman or the other, so I understand these negotiation tactics. Doesn't bother me much. In any case, I'm not the type who wants any freebies whatsoever. Previous cars they offered to throw in things like window blinds etc. I said no thanks. Things I want they can't give free like the 1k+ Tequipment ISOFIX preparation for my baby to go to Sepang, they cannot give free.Remus325;237085 said:This kind of reasoning is soooooo flawed. It is like showing on TV some hale 70 year old granny working out vigorously in the gym and telling singaporeans that the retirement age should go up to 70.
What they should tell you, but they won't, is the average discount people get for booking a cayman as well as the maximum discount that people have got for booking one.
The guy who bought 7 porkers probably made a lot of money doing business with Karsono or got great discounts on his first six porkers. In any case of course it is harder to get discounts on a GT3 as opposed to on a more generic 911, given the long wait list for a GT3.

March to Nov is a long wait for any car. Glad you got it ahead of schedule.
agree. i could not stop thinking about it when i was waiting to collect my bimmer, even tho i was on my bed with my eyes closed. in the end, i got up and played Xbox till the morning.hitmee;237126 said:yup, the night before is the most unbearable.....

He laugh until cry izzit? The commodore can eat the cayman for breakfast lunch and dinner, who care about taking corners if he can eat you on the straight anytime?phil;237193 said:I just spoke to a mate back home who picks up his new SS Commodore on Thursday, I told him about yours Cays, he cried, hahah
At 2.5 years he can steer sensibly on Daytona. He'll cart at 3.5 but I gotta scrape up enough to get him a custom cart. in the meantime, simulators. I'm waiting for him to grow up so I can pass him some old junk car and I can get myself a mid engined GT3.Remus325;237298 said:U might wanna start the baby on karting at an early age. Who knows? Ur baby might do a Lewis Hamilton one day and make daddy real proud
Scrape up? You could give up one little trinket on your car to pay for his kart. Besides, if you have to scrape up for anything in the first two thirds of his career as a race car driver, the last third will ruin youHe'll cart at 3.5 but I gotta scrape up enough to get him a custom cart
Remus325;237293 said:Hahah! I meant his rolls royce not rolls of poh piah. No pun intended!
