weird encounter from aircon

The aircon vent from the foot rest area initially blowing cold air but after awhile the air became warm. The rest of the vent blowing to the body is still blowing cold air. Does anyone encounter it before and any idea how to solve it. Pls advise tks all.

Check your climate stratification settings.

Turn that red / blue dial to 50 / 50 (red / blue) and see if it helps.

Actually my temp is set at 21 degrees and I did not touch that. Before that was ok until yest i sent my car to fix up the front headlights. The mechanic full lock the wheel to right and did the work from there, was wondering if he had trigger anything bcos everything was ok. Any kind soul can shed some light. Tks

The stratification dial is not the temp dial .....

Hi Rexter,

I have this encounter also.... mine have this weird problem too... many months back till today still the same.
Usually I set my temp to 22 degree C.. both passenger and mine...
Only mine side (Driver side) I feel the A/C blowing to he leg is warm air instead of cold air. passenger side was OK...
I got to set my temperature to 20 and below than the leg A/C will give me cold air... hahaha.. I suspect is the sensor have problem...
It has been quite a while a few months .. nvr go and bother about it

And now I got new set of problem... !! Cooling Coil leaking ! Have to top up gas every 2 weeks... sigh...

That bad anyway tks for sharing. My aircon at the foot area think back to normal but have to monitor awhile.

I was about to post a similar thread. Noticed this on and off one of my e90 2010 middle vent will blow hot air while the rest blows cold air during drive.

I had to switch off the air cond totally tune all to super colD and switch on air con again to get it to recover and blow cold air again but it seems warmer than the other vents

Anyone has solved this in the past and knows wat was the verdict?

I did nothing and only observe only but in the end back to normal. .. mayb can monitor awhile bcos at least the rest still blowing cold air
