Hi Guys
Looking for some advise. Just bougt a used 523i 1997 and need to rebuilding the engine. Would it be more sensible to replace it with the later version of the 2001 M52 or upgrade to the M54?

Any ideas

My uncles Merc. Its an old car man, seriously, its a good 15 years. E class. Im getting a car, sometime next year :)

Been using it for 7 years and still running very well.and looks awesome
