What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

The downshift will only work when the rpm is within range. Hence, if downshifting is done too quickly at a high rpm, the downshift will not take effect.

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

in decending order of cost:

- steering lock
- abs pump (dsc hydro unit)
- boost solenoid x2
- aircon thermostat (rhs)
- rear brake light error
- low water spray indicator

i've checked with PML technical advisor, they told me the paddle shift of '08 model E93 was worked different from the new ones.. .both left & right paddle shift able to upshift (press inward), while downshift is the reverse direction (which is pushed outward).... Is that true???? guys, need your advice. ..!! thanks...

Isn't this the same with all other stock steering wheels? My stock steering was both paddles same actions until I changed to performance version, one side downshift one side upshift......

The silver paddle shifters installed up to 2010 has downshift by pressing either left or right side. Upshift is by pulling either paddle shifter towards you. The new ones has grey paddle shifters with - on the left and + on the right.

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

Oh i see... Thanks for all yr replies...

Hmm.. Im wondering why they design downshifting in such a way... Kinda awkd ....

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

I am wondering how technical is your advisor....... wrong info......

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

Does anyone knows if we need to change to M-exhaust when we change to M-bodykit???

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

No, but you have to plan your exhaust one step ahead of the rear bumper/diffuser, especially if you want quads. Think about which exhaust you want first. The bumper/rear diffuser comes later.

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

Any recommendation which exhaust is best for E93?

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

guys, i've a few doubts for my E93....

is it normal to run at 120degree for water temp during jam? Can it be improve?

By the way, I was wondering how to switch off the aircon & radio? I can;t find any switches lei. ..Pls advise thanks....!

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

oil temp at 120 is ok. a bit high for water temp. are you sure it's water temp?

to lower it, go install a larger intercooler.

radio off switch - depress volume button on extreme right.

aircon off switch - same button as lowering aircon blower.

btw, these are all in the manual that came with the car. like all appliances, would be extremely helpful if you read it first before driving.

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

120 oil temp (not water temp) is normal, jam or after spirited drive. Could be worse after serious gunning.

Improvement - first step, change to a larger oil cooler. talk to Boss. Second step, open up a duct in front to cool the new oil cooler.

Switching off the aircon and radio, oh gosh, you have to do some self discovery !!!

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

haha... .thank mates. ..

By the way, is GruppeM intake useful? how much roughly ar??

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

Dun waste time with Gruppe M - its full CF wrap could not shield any heat from the engine bay. It is simply too hot. An open pod like the AFE which costs perhaps one-third works just as fine.

Re: What problems have u encounter on your 335 so far?

BUT, the Gruppe M looks DAMN CHIO !!! LOL
