I replace my e60 plugs with bosch iridium once i received it. After 10k mileage, i remove plug coils and inspect found that 5 out of 6 was leaked at ceramic side. 1 of them more worst, ceramic was broken. I suspect it was quality issue.
Replace with Denso iridium 6@$150, then and still going strong for 15k mileage already. My workshop mechanic advise me to replacement with correct specs more important than replacement plugs with fancy name and ads which claim can improve fc and power. If u like those thing, install a flame thrower more ideal, guarantee best combustion .

Bought 6 spark plugs (NGK) from ES only S$96.30 + Labour(cost depends on ur ws)

got a friend die die go pml, nvr even change own wiper b4..
I diy few stuff cos I like n I cheapo bravo..
& every ws got their own business model / concept / costing.. so, to each his own

Agree with your opinion for diff individuals.
I was actually only going there for normal servicing (FOC for 3 oil svs). Was caught when he told me shld change both items.
Learnt my lesson once will do....shld read more from this forum and change parts elsewhere.

oki lah brudder, I also sometimes will kena caught in such situation.
my suggestion is to stick to one workshop, its business. Observe their technical works and build relationship... (oki at least it works for me)

Hi bros, I need to change all 6 spark plugs + all 6 ignition coils for my e60 525, may I know what a reasonable price should be ( in PML) ? thanks !
... I was quoted almost like 1.5k ! Shocked, even for PML standard. I thought he made a mistake. Can any one who has done similar job share his cost figure ? ( I honestly think the technician I spoke to mis read from his computer? It can't be more than a couple of hundreds )
