Whats happening to my car??

This indicator came off recently, everytime i remove my car key, the signal comes up....is it oil leaking

I thought you can see the descriptive text for the icon in iDrive. That is how I found the interpretation for my front right lamp is blown icon. I think it even mention something about DRL in my case.

hi all! thank you for the advices! BW, thanks for pointing me there....

My manual does not say anything about this apparently....

And i just only got to figure out the iDrive...

I have that everyday.

Your manual probably won't have the list of error codes if they are available in your idrive.

So same thing again, check what's the error message in your idrive. Or visually check the signal lights brake lights headlights side indicators etc.

If everything ok probably u installed some after market bulbs?

No leh bro. didnt install anything.when I bought it as it was 2 months back.only appeared 2 days back.

Check your Corona Ring lights and also your brake lights, get someone to step the brakes and see. Or your reverse and number plate lights.

hi all,

Thought i share this with you all. so i finally DIY and removed the bulb chassis(actually was pretty easy, to my surprise). It appears that the brake light indeed is not working. And apparently the lighting system is by design ( i believe) such that when the brake lights go out, the rear light will kick in like some kind of back up by intensifying its output.( i read this somewhere on the Net). Now to find a replacement bulb with exact specs as the original, and hopefully the system does not detect any adnormalties and i can finally rid the ERROR message off my dashboard display.
