Hi Bros,

Was told by SE the options taken away are worth ard 4k for the 320i! Doing the math, it seems PML only repackaging the product. throw in the 5 days of 'rental' in return for this 'favor', it seems not such a geniuine discount after all. Just my 2 cents.....

Maybe some bros may be able to squeeze a lil here and there i suppose; wonder how they gonna shift 150 examples?

Cheers,

It will attract buyers who have not much of an idea what the original package comes with. The ST write-up may have swung some folks to consider it an option since it is "15k less" - an offer irresistable.....not realising it comes with alot less.

Hmm...... now that you guys tell me, its really not much of a discount!

How reliable is this info? How come for AA its still going for 124k ???? for that amount, we can almost get a brand new one with ALL the extras already!

I personally find this Aerospace Cars attractive if there is really a saving of $15k from the "realistic px n not list px". We all know that once we sign on the dotted line, our brand new car get an immediate $20-30k depreciation off our purchase px. So with a $15k discount, we are likely to be much better off if u sell within the next 3 yrs. We are talking about bread n butter model like the 320i and the 523i so I believe the cars can definitely take a bit of the abuse here n there for the 5 days n depend on your luck so of the cars are in "standby" and was given to the new owner with less than 100km mileage on it.

Cheers!

Is it true that the last batch of Aerospace cars (E60) has less options like zenon etc?

AA-320ia at 123K, with 3% interest rebate( 7 year loan and above) No free servicing, no anti dazzle mirrors, no rain and light sensors, no 6pcs CD Changer

To add on, I had mine last week at 127K with everything
So lets do some maths
Deduct free servicing 1.5K
Deduct new CD changer ( and upgrade to professional?) 1K
Anti Dazzle Mirror ( $100)
Rain and light sensor ( $1K)
Nett Price 123.5K
Savings 0.5K..
Worth it?

Hi there! your 127k is with or without finance rebate?

Thanks

Those cars used for aerospace guests are usually on low specs.

Re: Asian Aerospace offer! BMW 320i @ $123K, 523i @ $161K..HURRY!!
The following options will be MISSING from the Asian Aerospace offers :

i) No Wood, ($xxxx)
ii) No Folding side Mirrors ($2000)
iii) No Free 3 years maintenence ($3800)
iv) No CD Changer (S$1000)
v) etc

Total Loss at least :$7000.
Also , the OMV for these cards will be lower ; so means even higher depreciation...

IMHO, it is NOT worth buying the aero cars ; moreover , you let some over-enthusiastic driver rev your car for a few days.Don't be suckered by the sales person...check the specs..dun just look at price..

In this case ! Totally not worth buying.

I was expecting someting like S$118K for 320i (My own estimation before PML announced the price).

However, PML has to play a safe game in case COE shoot-up to S$15K~ S$18K. Then will be different story.

IMHO.

Cheers !

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

I think it is not worth. Unless the COE goes up

Re: What's the deal for 2006 Asian Aerospace BMWs'

PML releasing 300 cars for this promo, means they are taking up confirmed 300 COEs.
In addition to new sales (150?) Thats 450 sales
That is about 20% of COE for 1 round coming from a luxury make
With the new Civic and the overhand from the 9K COE, I would believe COE cat b may be at 11K or higher
2 cents worth...
