Whats your wishlist for the next 5 years?

Judgement day is tml. Its an uphill struggle to bring in alternative voice, we all know deep down that the possiblity of 87 - 0 is high.

Irregardless of who is forming the new government, what are the changes you hope to see in the next 5 years or more?

1. Dismantling of all GRCs for next election
2. Enactment of new regulations to protect a free press and media network, de-link the association with government while keeping minimum set of strict rules for racial and religious boundaries. (The press will still be held accountable for untruthful reportings)
3. An independent judiciary system (?)
4. An independent Elections Department that doesnt report direct to PMO
5. A more independent CPIB that doesnt report direct to PMO
6. A reduction of ministerial pay package which can even drop below what a perm sec receives? Instead of carrot, we use stick .. death sentence for any corrupted ministers!
7. Ban on party whip where each individual MP can vote freely in the parliament

I just want one thing: for the leaders to be more compassionate towards its people, and for the garmen to become less money oriented.

wish is when in reality that particular thing u wish for wun likely happen and most of the time, it didnt really happen..

Since this is a car forum,

Continue with gradual reduction in ARF.
Remove bus lanes.
Revamp the entire traffic light systems which often hv no idea of traffic condition.
COE/ERP/Road tax, petrol tax, choose one and abolish the rest.

Reverse the overcrowding in Singapore.
Stop giving free/subsidised university education to foreigners.
Commit to 0% vehicle increase.
Stop chasing GDP growth at the expense of everything else.
Allow full CPF withdrawal at age 55.
Give a full account for of reserves to MPs including Opposition under Oath of Secrecy.
Have a level playing field for Opposition and stop using HDB upgrading as a carrot.
Have respect and honesty, love and compassion.
