when u switch off your engine and take out your key, there's a locking mechanism that switches on to lock the steering wheel to prevent theft.
if you dont touch the steering wheel at all when getting out or into the car, then it will not get jammed. If after you take out your key, and you use your hands to try to turn the steering wheel, you'll hear a click sound. This is the sound of the "jamming" when the steering is being locked in place.
to turn the ignition key on later, you have to jiggle the steering a little to release the "jam" that's been clicked fast.
so if you dowan to have to jiggle your steering everytime you restart the car, then take care not to turn the steering accidently after you retrieve the key from the ignition, while getting in or out of the car, so the steering wouldnt get locked up in the first place. go and try it.
