Anyone can advise when tyres should be changed (as a general rule)?

My driving style is sissy in Singapore but high speed in Malaysia so I have to be aware of the grip :yikess:

Thanks.

Re: When to change tyre

I usually stick to 2.5 years of 50,000km. Whichever is earlier.

By that time, threads are getting thinner liao or rubber is getting too hard.

Re: When to change tyre

yeap, mine is abt there too, every 2 yrs avg 50,000km.

but it depends on ur driving style too....some of my frens changed yearly.

Re: When to change tyre

driving style, mileage & maintenance (air pressure) are attributes to the durability of the tyres.
i change tyres on yearly basis....mileage at about 35K.

Re: When to change tyre

My tires exactly 1 year just changed ~ 18,000KM.. Looks like semi slicks..Muaahahha...Did quite a few NS runs and B road driving. Also had quite a high rear camber. Quite a few launches too. Gotta back off all these. Tires are expensive!!!
