where to get car alarm for E90 320i?

Hi,

any kind soul can advice where I can get the E90 320i alarm fixed, I am looking at those that will integrate which my existing remote control? Please advice prce and where I can get them fixed, will fixing the alram invalidate my warranty/?

Went to PML today, they told me that there aren't any available. Saw one set over the web at www.pacificbmw.com at about usd237. Will this work?

hi wendian,

do not think we need alarms for e90 and to find one to integrate into our existing keys will be very hard...maybe impossible...

our cars come with steering lock with the key is ejected so it is really hard to steal it unless that bloke waits for u at ur car !!....

i have same question. why is the alarm not sold as an option with the car? and alarms are not to protect car from being stolen but rather as deterrent to thieves from breaking into ur car. i prefer alarms too to remind me sometimes where i park

Wendian, i also hav tis prob. After locking up, take our ur HP & take a pic of nearest pillar.

I guess alarm is useful if someone break your window to steal the stuff inside the car rather than driving the car away.

My sister in law Volvo was broken in with all the items remove. She only knew it when she return to her car since there is no alarm in the car to alert people.

Alarms will not help deter any would-be burglar. I have seen many times people just hack-care and walk away from a blaring car. They are actually quite annoying.
