I would vote for the ActiveHybrid 5!

You get the IL6 with an extra electric motor.

Test drove it and was impressed! Only thing my bank account wasnt impressed.
The HUD very chio. The start stop function hardly noticeable.
Boot space less though and dont like the aerodynamic rims.

Yes it is.

Battery comes with a 5 years or 100,000 km warranty

The warranty sucks... I think Lexus has a 10 year unlimited KM warranty in comparison. I would be wary of the battery. Batteries don't last long...

I do 100K km in 3 years. After that, then what? Pay $50K for replacement batteries?

Guess it suits low mileage drivers like me more then. I do roughly 10,000 per year. Anyway, 5 years is a long time to be driving the same car.

Hi bros!! Am contemplating to change to the new 3 series which is a bit bigger now.. eyeing the 335i sports with m- tuning... anyone tried the 528? How was it? Am lost now..pl help

For me, here is how I decide. If I buy a E60 I will always be asking why I did not pay a little more for F10. It will forever bug me. But if I buy a F10, I will never think why I did not choose an E60. For me at least that's how I decided. No offense to E60 bros hor as its my own take on this

I agreed with Bro Liv2Golf cos One yr down the road you may ask yourselves this question why I didnt pay extra more to have a F10, as most of the road will be flooded with F10 than E60.


As for my choice E60 was due to my tight budget. I am missing my ride now cos she is in the paint shop for 3 weeks.

I fully agree with MW.

335 and 528 are 2 different cars, in terms of size, cc and performance, and I suspect price also.

Die hard BMW fans will ask you to get the 335 though, you won't go wrong with a strawberry

I heard 528 super noisy engine.... now I got a good offer of 523 PI model.. anyone has any experience with PI moddelsl BMW?? Any drawbacks???

Yeah u are right can't compare due to different series but how about in terms of comfort?? Seems the new 3 is quite spacious n comes with sports seats!!

went to PML already.. now my wife saw a nice 523i and fell in love but its a PI.... u recommend? PML do not have anymore 523 only 520 n 528..

Like what ac323 suggested, go to PML for a test drive first.

PIs usually do not allow test drives.

But if you've decided on the 523, then speak to the PI and see if they can give you a test drive.

go test drive ppsl / sgcarmart used 523i ... look for almost new (2011 car)

then can compare loh
