initially i use V-power, but bui tahan, so now use 98. Very soon will go to 95 ....

Got budget go for V Power. No budget use SPC cheapest.

Work out the difference per tank and see if the quantum in dollar terms is really that significant.

collected my new toy this afternoon and the SE told me this model is with new engine with new technology therefore Octane 95 is good enough...do you all agree to that comment!!!

BMW brochure say rated performance number are using RON98 fuel, your car powderful, pump RON95 also can go!

The pump lid states octane95 so u decide. I was told if ecu not tune to accept higher octane u pump also no use coz ecu will still base on 95..maybe u try pump 98 and update us if theres any diff.

Btw I am on esso5000 since day1. Average 630km per full tank. Abt 10km//litre.

Just went Showroom and even on 528I M Sports model inside fuel lid also say 95. So i guess 95 ok. Been pumping 98 for 523I before so i guess can save $$ now. Btw, anybody bought the 528I Sports model?

50 highway 50 city. About 470km per tank 8.5km/l
But I'm on staggered 20inch

v power 2.356 vs 98 2.128....u pump 50 litres...u save 11 bux.

my is F10 520 stock....my 40% highway or less..i use cruise control if possible..and also control right foot...but on city, i usually travel off peak so less involve in jams..i think tat helps too...

Well can u imagine it makes a difference if u travel to work from East to West everyday but just wondering would it spoil the engine if use 95. Now using 98 lah but thought when get new car then change to 95
