I have been with Shell for decades after I switch from Exxomobil. Cooperate discount is with another brand but I stay with Shell as I do not go 'chasing' discounts e.g. different banks providing plus % to brand discount... call me a diehard Ferrari's fuel brand supporter, LMAO.
Ron 95 not powerful enuf.. Ron 98 too powerful for me.. In the end, only Ron 97 suits my car best... so I only go JB pump my Petrol.. V-Power Racing 97

Ron97 and Ron98 has minimum difference while Ron95 to 97/98, e difference can be significant in relation to optimal purposes e.g. performance.
Also MY V-Power's additive is to meant for highway/expressway driving (cater for power to mileage) while SG V-Power's additive is meant for City driving (catered for better pickup responsiveness). All Shell fuel in SG and MY is supplied from Pulau Bukum and also V-Power does not increase OEM power/torque unless ur ride is specifically tuned to Shell V-Power... not I say but Shell Technical department at Pulau Bukum.
Brands of petrol has an element of preference and promotional programmes tied to it. Really pointless to ask unless you are going for the "best" deal.
Even asking what petrol within each brand will yield all kinds of answer. I stick to Shell V Power, but some will try to justify that 95 is good enough.
No end to this. 2-ply, 3-ply and 4-ply also got people buy.
