Same meaning lah ..... if never unmarried then license file not intact. If you give the serial number of the AP to Cobb they can allow you to send back to Texas and they will reinstall the license for you into the unit.

The dealers here cannot do that only Texas can do license ......

That is provided you can proof your purchase.

How about Procede? Seems like there are good reviews on this forums for it.
By the way, I am not a hard core or trekkie who absolutely need to squeeze every juice out of the car. Haha.

sorry not true. i wana correct that not about new or second hand but installing...

u know what happen to me ... i have to pay to relicense even it is what i bought brand new.

thats y many buy locally instead importing... cos some n55 after late 2011/2012 cannot install.

Also try before last time when Dme kena flashed with license still married .... Except the unit was second hand one. Just told the helpdesk the serial number and they say just send over and will re license for a fee. They bochap one ... As long as pay $$

But your case - should scold them because it's first hand unit.

The relicense is cheap ... total 75 usd inclusive shipping ... singapore shipping is 6 SIng dollar max.

To Threadstarter ... it is your choice to choose whatever piggy or flash you like but always bear in mind where to tune and how to install ? your supporting mods to go in hand with your tune...

With 3 friends having issues with JB4 i choose the cobb route to play fuel.
Have 2 friends on jb4 having no issues. Methanol control is even finer ...

It is your choice.

Procede - not too sure since not well known here. cant advise.

But one well known tuner quoted me $800 for a reflash, and he wouldn't tell me what flash it is. So I am thinking whether it's more worth the money to get a piggy or Cobb instead.

Cobb is a flash .. cheapest in SIngapore is 1300 ...

second thing ... with good supporting mods... u need a good tuner ...

which again will be easily 1-1.5k

lastly u can save cost by datalog and get distant tunning at 1/3 of the price.

Evolve tune ai mai .... Can customize throttle response, vmax, MIL delete, stage 1/2, torque delivery .......

I think I got mine brand new ard 1.1-1.2k. Cant really remember the exact. And PTF tuning is very convenient. Just log and send file. Maybe 1 or 2 days u will get the map. No hassle. No need to wait and wait like normal tuning. Then after a few revision then u will be very satisfied already. During this period no problem with driving.
