I landed a different job (in the same co) when my good-for-nothing boss threatened to make my old job redundant. Now I absolutely hated it. Thought of leaving many times over but the outside job market is shit and the current pay is not too bad.
Talking about being caught between a rock and a hard place... KNN!

The people who like their job is probably the entrepreneurs like Ryan are their own Boss, no need to see Boss' face or colour, who see the end results directly and reap the profits.
For most of us, even while we work intelligently or diligently, we treasure worklife balance and if so, the salary is really for a job that pays the bills. Hard to have everything lah. Many people dont love their job or even hate them so you are not alone.
There would be those who love their jobs but are so ambitious that they are unhappy for other reasons eg not promoted fast enough etc.
Not in this current climate. Yields are horrible, labour is hard to find, too much competition, etc.... KTV/thai disco can consider. But need garlands to generate ancillary revenue or upside is limited.
