sub CBD gantry?... like the orchard one near Macdonald house? get out orchard also must pay...
alternate is by AYE or ECP - Keppel road - enter thru LIPPO building gantry to lau pa sat !
anyway i numb liao cos i work in CBD... almost $100 per mth for ERP !

I think might as well put up a gantry outside every HDB carpark, condo entrance/exit, access road to landed housing estates.
Wait, even better idea - why not just modify the IU to automatically deduct a few bucks every 10 minutes? Saves having to build all these cumbersome gantries. Can even generate revenue when the car is stationary and not in use.
Anyone from LTA reading? Remember to give me royalties for these ideas hor.

in future is worst, all gantry removed... all GPS, LTA will know are u in a building or using the public road, LTA will charge based on the time u on the road !
so no need hide, no cashcard only VISA credit card tat links to GPS, lastly LTA will also sell report to ur wife on ur whereabout ! run lion is history !
& before the GPS implementation, one of the gantry will hit $30 soon... which one... let wait & see !

....so cars are much cheaper these days....govt encourages car ownership....target like what? 1 car in every 10 households?...More LTA revenues basically.....

For people who works in CBD, next time after work, if you are going:
- Marina or City Hall (shopping),
- Bras Basah (buy FHM),
- Bugis
- Funan / Sim Lim (buy computer-related stuff)
- SMU (study MBA or see char bo)
- Si Be Lo (pray pray)
- Esplanade
- Home via Nicoll Highway.
=> must pay ERP.
