BMW listen to customers. They know people like M cars but not within their budget thus M Performance kits was born.
BMW called it RETROFITTED kits thus give customers the options of ///M feel for their car. We need to thanks those pasted ///M badge on their car in early days.

Wearing soccer jerseys with namesets is a sign of fanship. At worst, it is an obsession. It will never contain the elements to deceive others that the wearer is, indeed, the star soccer player. So that's fine.
Putting M-stickers denotes M-parts acknowledgement. That's fine.
Putting on an M3 or M5 badge is altogether different. There is a huge element to deceive. And worse, those who did a fcuked-up job yamming their BMWs are akin to lousy liars.

The ///M Sports kit consist not only the exterior body kits and rims;
interior finishings, steering wheel, seats are all upgraded.
All these makes the car looks and feel sportier.
Engine is no change, therefore it is not a ///M 5.
