I think there are more sucide cases than murder in Singapore.
My friend told me 2 of his casino gambling friends killed themselves after losing everything.
Social problem will arise.

And some dead do come back for revenge - milk say one.

I agree its the casinos. A friend who is a regular at MBS told me that he knows of a few people who have killed themselves over their gambling debts.

Man murdered at Toa Payoh Lorong 1 | SingaporeScene - Yahoo! News

A 47-year-old Chinese man was murdered at block 128 Toa Payoh Lorong 1 on Wednesday evening.
Police told Yahoo! Singapore that they were informed of the incident at about 7.54pm and deployed assistance to the location.
They found the man lying injured at the void deck of the block. He was sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital but died on Thursday morning.
Police immediately mounted operations to establish the identity of the assailant and swiftly arrested a 50-year-old male Singaporean in connection with the case.
Investigations are ongoing.

From what I hear it is true and apparently more so at RWS (could be cause RWS started operations earlier). Some even head to overseas to commit suicde.

Batter to gamble with what we can spare and not what we cannot afford to lose.

Anyway it is 7th month and hence more bodies?
