Windscreen pitting

I noticed that the windscreen tends to pit quite easily, as compared to my earlier jap cars. i have been careful not to follow behind trucks and other high risk vehicles. on expressways, i drive at 100km/h max. never drove into Malaysia. so far no cracks, so can't change and claim insurance.

Would like to hear your experiences.

Just drive at whatever speed. Crack just replace. After all. The rubber seal gets a fresh one.

make sure they polish the glass the and seal is good. Test drive. Else you get a whistle noise when driving.

Replacing the windscreen will come at some risks. I did it once for my previous ride, lucky no leaking or wind noise. But if crack, of course no choice but to replace. My insurance covers any workshop, so will surely go back to PML. Don't really have faith in those OEM ones.
