PML probably can replace the windscreen and then assist in insurance claim for windscreen replacement, with or without warranty. Stone chip is probably due to usage rather than from factory defect so do not trigger the warranty clause. However some insurance company do specify WHERE you can go for windscreen replacement, similar to specified workshops for general repairs. (gotta read the insurance details)
Seldom do any workshop do repair as it is tedious and time consuming and don't earn much for them. FYI, only cracks that have a probability to lead to shattering of windscreen, will be valid for 'free' windscreen claims. Tiny stone chips here and there mostly do not count.
If you wish, you may DIY repair tiny chips, just look up Youtube. Cheers
