I think so too. But I am not used to the fact that a handsome man is putting some tools in my mouth.

LA is fine. Injections hurt a bit but after that everything's numb. Some people might be put off by the sound and action of dentist while he/she works on it, something to consider. Your call with you want want LA or GA.

Lasik is more or less L/A too right? they put numbing liquid into the eyes... you actually feel the cut, the flap and the laser / smell of burning amino acid during the operations.

go gahmen hospital to operate lor...get all those fresh out of dental school grads... all young and virile types.... but not sure if can use medisave to pay....

I went to Mount Elizabeth Hospital to remove,But unfortunately it's a female dentist but it wasn't pain at all,But pocket pain hahahahaaha!

I extracted mine @ Gentle Dental in River Valley. Doc name is Justin. I make an appointment to see him for crack teeth @ 12pm. On the spot, he told me lower right wisdom tooth crack liao. Need to extract immediately. Took 3 jab to numb the area. I left the clinic @ 12:30pm. Anesthetic did not go off completely until 7pm.

Since i can't hot & solid food for 1 wk, i had salmon sashimi salad for 1 wk. Nothing out of my pocket as it is covered by medisave. If not, that's $800.

I removed all 4 at once. under local. I da man. my dentist was a lady. when in pain I just squeezed the stress ball.

My left lower wisdom took female dentist 1 hr to extract. 2 wks cannot open mouth.
