With run flat tyres - do you guys still carry a spare?

Hi, just wanted to check if you guys still carry a spare tire around in your boot if you are already using run flat tyres??

It seems a waste to carry the extra 10-15 kg of spare tyre.

The idea of having RFT is for the car not to be supplied with any spare tires

So the answer is , I think 100 pct peopld dont bother carrying a spare..

i used to do RFT n carry a spare...punctures in sidewall of RFT cannot be repaired...

i got a spare to sell cheap cheap...if keen pm me.

2 cartons of drinks (plus other stuff like shoes, bags, change of clothes etc) couldn't fit into the boot, how to carry spare tyre?

Notwithstanding the funny puns about spares of "other" kinds , my SE tells me that it is not advisable to remove the spare as it upsets the 50:50 weight distribution for the E60. Is it true and has anyone observed any change in handling, stability etc? Much appreciate! Can't wait to shed any excess weight! The RFTs are already a "burden" with its extra weight...

he is not wrong if he is reprensenting BMW official,they designed the car.
but what happen if we carry passengers should we arrange the sitting position to obtain good weight distribution?
to BMW anything remove from original is not allow and adding anything not origianl is also not allow
