I recently paid a deposit in MA for the 328 Performance Exhaust as well.
What was supposed to be a 1 day job turned to a 3-4 weeks wait.
Andrian was apologetic and refunded my deposit and it didn't take 2-3 weeks either.

The problem (as observed by MA) is that the serial numbers of the Performance Exhaust has a new prefix and LTA is jittery about this. Although there is nothing different about the physical item, LTA just wants to be be LTA. Fucking ridiculous if you ask me. Just another excuse of taxation.

So is the problem resolved or you gave up on the Exhaust and looking at new options? Did MA tell you how long before the exhaust is approved?

I have not given up on the exhaust. Andrian is still checking with LTA. I don't know the process or how long it will take now that I have gotten my deposit back.

As long as they can do it again, they will call me back. Fair I guess.

The MUFFLER issue lies on the item part number. LTA registered all BMW muffles as OLD part nos. But lately all new Muffles part number are NEW part nos. Thus was rejected by LTA. So what now? BMW ASIA should notify LTA on their new part number in order to get approval.

In the mean time don't but BMW exhaust till the issue is settled say 3 months down the road.

Pal? I assume you mean PML? If it's you pal, can ask him/her to install anytime! LOL!

With PML/MA, I assume they will ask you to wait and go back when they sorted out the issue with LTA. If you find out otherwise, let me know!

Long since I post. Regarding this 328i m performance . From what I know , this exhaust had not been approved by lta before .
