Which would you pick for E90 Arctic Metallics?
LM-R looks a bit small in 19" coz of the step lip.

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

RS-GT cheaper by $2k from LM-R .

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

can fit E92 coupe? front 235/19/35 back 265/19/30
offset should be 30 if i am not wrong....

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

no cannot fit E92 for sure, they are for E46 M3,
i need to see the LM-R 19" on a car to tell they are small. cant seem to find pics fitted on E90s. any clue?

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

LM-R for me...Sportier and more racing inspired in terms of look. Very similar to the rims used in Porsche GT3 Cup car.

Fitment for E92/E93 is very similar to fitment for E46 M3

I believe the RSGT for M3 are +35 for front and +25 for rear...perfect for E92/E93 but must roll real fenders.

what is the ideal offset for E92?

Depending on the widths, that is most important

I assume most ppl are interested in 8.5 /9.5 so here we go

+35 8.5J front 235/35/19
+30 9.5J rear 265/30/19...no fender rolling.
Having this rear offset, u can up the tire size to 275mm w/o rolling too.

Probably aint easy to find rims with that rear offset unless it's custom offset.

However, at least I know Volk Prog ME has +30 9.5

Cheers

MMM, if I wanna use 265/30/19 tyres at rear but want it as flush with fenders as possible, with some rolling of fenders considered, what is a good aggressive offset? +28 ?

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

ABD, i guess the most flush is ET25. 9.5 with ET28 is hard to come by.

to achieve flushness to fender required fender rolling (of course we're talking on a lowered ride), that's a must!
Unless you want run some 245 tyres at the back, cheaper for tyres and can even have deeper lip with a 10in width...so much more aggresive!

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

here are some LM-R 20's on E90 E92. the last E46 M3 is running 19 LM-R.

enjoy

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

here's the spec of the above black E90 335 LM-R in 20s

LM-R 314 20×8.5 32
LM-R 315 20×9.5 35

F:245/30/ZR20
R:285/25/ZR20

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

looks the portion of the rear lip at ET35 on 9.5 is noticeably good.

i wonder if the lip would go much deeper when it comes to 19" x 9.5 ET25? can some expert pls help...!!! MMM?

Re: Would you get 19" BBS LM-R or RS-GT?

this is 19" x 9.5 ET 32 BBS LM on E92.

the final pic is LM-R photoshopped by someone (size/spec unknown), look at the lip is pretty fat.
