The actual final drive gear ratio is indicated on a thin metal tab mounted with one of the big bolts at the back of the diff. An S indicates an LSD. Some of the attachments ie to the drive shaft or prop shaft differs from year to year, and also with engine size and rear subframe type (there are 2 different ones).
Opvaulet, Do you know if the coupling is the round or triangular one? There are apparently 2. I will probably need to get it checked just to be safe I don't end up picking up the wrong one.
Once this is confirmed, then I will embark on the suspension/ chassic overhaul with all new shocks, bushes, mounts etc.

why not u jack up the car on a hydraulic hoist and have a look to make absolutely sure
