Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

Yohz 3-Series seeker!
I was shopping around for a 320i saw 2-3 good deals but currently I'm still cant get loan.
(maybe loan sharks! hah ah hah)

Used BMW 320I Car for Sale from Singapore, Seng Hup Auto Trading - sgCarMart

this car is not bad. I quoted him $68000 and hes pretty okay.
engine runs okay, back may have small accident not sure. (screws been taken out I guessed.)
STA check if you are unsure. gave up cos I dunt like any "4" on my no. plate

Used BMW 320I Car for Sale from Singapore, Pang's Motor Trading - sgCarMart

this car i'm quite sure its accident free. test drove the car, sounds better too.
mileage seems high, agent/boss very nice. I quoted $66,800 shes okay,
predict can go lower too bad loan cant go thru.... :(

catch these okay deals soon, hope its a good reference to you.
total 3-series I saw all can sell at 67-70k range. any 05 car dunt
pay more than 70k to the dealers bah.... (dealers dunt kill me!!!)

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

2005 -> not above $70K
2006 -> not above $80K

so is this price range reasonable ?

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

yup in short yes.
another forum friend try to trade in his 05 sept 320 C&C only quoted him 63k
dealers are taking in cars at shit price... so a 320 should depreciate around 600 a month
so you can do your own math on how many months should determine how much more to pay
(05 or 06 E90 should depreciate at range $7000 - $7500 / year if you can get lesser than 7k well good news!) lesser mileage better condition of cos determine the value of the car but with only a bit of diff. cos at the end of the day you will scrap or sell your car & value is base on paper value & market value.

spend some time, take a look at the cars.
speculation from my dealer fren is after the CNY period
the car market going to get worse! bank loans are tougher
to be approve etc.

read the news "lian he wan bao"
dated few days ago : most car dealers are tight & letting go their
bigger CC cars at lower than market rate cos they loan money from banks
to hold on to their cars. and now the trend is small - mid- size jap cars
so they would rather "get rid" of their cars fast to generate more cash flow.

hope this is useful for you. :)
pls correct me if my infos are wrong its base on my personal experiences / sorry to forumers if you are selling your cars I'm only trying to share what I've gathered

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

Ya, I heard from a friend of mine that he had 2 customers at PML whom got their loan rejected, he don't see this things happened last year. Banks are stricter now I believe...

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

70k for an 27th Jan 2006 with original BMW keyless entry installed.

now some agents are not loosening their negotiations. many people out there are buying. so they dio geh.

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

i'll probably wait until may when i am overseas and can let my current ride be sold on consignment...but if a good deal comes along, i'll go for it.

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

what car are you selling? my uncle is an exporter. maybe can help.

Re: WTB Bmw 320 e90 2005 or 2006, any?

What should we look out for when buying a 3-4yrs old BM?
At this age, it should be due for some major servicing or water/oil seals replacements...
How does the number of owners affect the re-sale price of the car?

Good buy and you certainly have good bargaining skills. I noticed 2nd hand car dealers are enjoying brisk business (just look at sgcarmart, many BMWs were sold in a couple of days, if not hours, hahaha), so they tend to be more firm in their pricing nowadays.

A point to note for 2nd hand car buyers, don't just go for cheap price, emphasize on car condition, mileage etc and most important, a reliable car dealer, such as PPSL or others. Always good to insist on warranty, even though it may cost you a little more, you won't regret it!
