Btw, I heard that the hood pins are illegal, except for Aerocatch which is flushed? Also, CF hood may or may not pass inspection...

That's the only design I have from the friend at Ubi. Cost is lesser than $1.3K, with installation. If we have more members buying, we should be able to drive the price down.

Yes, I heard from Ubi that there's the 'normal' classic CF hood.. it is a hundred dollar cheaper.
What I noted is that the carbon fibre coat is for the exterior surface. The internal is blackish.. I guess this what 'half CF'?

Oh yes.. Heard from another member that the price quoted by Ubi friend is cheaper than the quote he got from Malaysia (if freight is considered)..

The shop is something like "amipex" but I can't recall the exact spelling. It is at Paya Ubi Industrial Park. U know Gary's Engineering? It's about 8 to 10 units further down Gary..
