WTB E39 Air-con Console Part 64.11 - 6916 641

Hi, I am desperate for some help here. Am about to sell my E39 but the aircon broke down just
a week before handing over. I have narrowed down the fault to the aircon console, part number.
BMW 64.11 - 6 916 641. Checked with PML and they quoted abt S$ 1256 excluding GST. :yikess:

I am hoping if there is any one out there who happen to know where to get a used one. So I
could at least hand over the car in good condition.

Any help is very much appreciated. Pls call me at 9853 3553 is you have any lead. name is

It totally blacked out. Think something shorted, coz even with the engine off, the air con was
blowing hot air at full blast.

Sent it to a few air con mechanics, and they all traced the fault to the console.

I suggest you try Moto-Aire at Sin Ming Road Block 7 #01-88 look for Ah Chuan 9660 4911

I should have the part you required.. Yours is the dual climate control rite? E39 520 M54. Do let me know if you still need it.

Do u take out the HVAC to see?? Check the wire in the back, i reckon not the whole HVAC goes wrong lar, only the wire shock..

Trust me, i just take out mine to check last week..If whole the HVAC break down, then there should no more respond, no buzzing sound, no air blow out from vent..

should try what bmw7833 is advising, doesn't hurt to check that out, might end up saving money on that. worse come to worse, can try getting from milk if u wanna save costs. as for brand new, can try eng soon, pml or sin guan hin. the pricing between them sometimes seems to have quite a big gap.

Thanks guys for the quick response. Well, a friend n I took out the whole console n tried to
troubleshoot ourselves. Did some cleaning, but it turns out to be the same. Console a blank
and the air con blowing hot wind the moment we plug it back.

It should be a short-circuit somewhere in the IC board level. (that's our guess, as we don't ve
another console to check if the faults lies within the circuitry of the car itself). Anyway, can you
let me have his contacts as well as contacts for eng soon and sin guan hin, will contact milk
right away.

Well, coz I am selling the car, so getting a used parts might be a better options. However, if
worse come to worst, I might get a brand new console, coz I hate to handover a vehicle when
things are not in working condition.

Appreciate all inputs n help

Thanks everyone for your help， especially from milk15.

I have gotten the parts from milk15, with a discount , and I am glad I handed over the vehicle
in good working condition. That's the least I could do while letting go my baby
