Hi everyone,
This will be a very strange n long shot, but I have juz purchased a April/2006 730LI, E66. Of cos, its my fault i did nt check closer the ride, assuming the GPS shld b standard on all 7 series, as I owned a 2003 E65 730i before n it came with it.
When I took delivery, I then discovered the GPS unit has been removed fm the boot. When I chk wif the dealer, the dealer said the previous owner removed it, n I traced back to the 1st owner, it was indeed removed and he claimed the dealer noes it. So I am stuck wif an E66 730LI wif no GPS....although the GPS function maintains on my i-drive.
a long shot....any 7 series E65/E66 owners wanting to export their rides and willing to "dekit" their GPS unit for a fee, pls let me noe.....
