LOL.

Just kidding, I'm not selling any.

Queued up yesterday and finally got my hands on some. (for gifts etc - even my mom wanted one)

Anyone joined the queue? Or did you get your hands on the US units. We might and this is a maybe, relax the rules of selling Apple related products(specifically the iPad - not the iPhone 4 yet) in the forum within the next 2 weeks due to grey vendors looking to offload bulk units.

No choice but to get them for development work in my job. HTML5, CSS3 and all the works. Was half tempted to bring them over from my US office but I thought i would wait it out for the SG units. hehehe

just read an article in Newspaper this morning, a company in India is going to mass-prod the ipad-wanabe, similar feature BUT it is very cheap, retailed at S$48 each. Instead of using built-in HD, they used slotted-in flash memory card etc, run in Unix etc...

Quality will not be far from iPad as mentioned.

:)

Somehow i kinda doubt that. Being in the hardware line, its very hard to underestimate how the giants go through their quality processes just to get the material and finish to be 'right'.

Getting a product just to be 'Apple White' is a horrendous undertaking.

Would if I could :)

It is possible though it would likely work with the news section for now.

Already it's quite fun surfing the site using the iPad in native safari.

Re: WTS: Apple iPads

Did I hear HTML, CSS3, etc? Ryan - I am working on the iPad too. If you are keen on partnering up drop me a line. :)

Re: WTS: Apple iPads

2x 16gb 3g, 1x32gb 3g. Think i paid about 2.9 for the ipads alone, screen+covers another 200?
