Time has come for me to move on, actually, thanks to joon's poisonous threads, I've been inspired.

Letting go my frugal lil 316i for something a little more exciting.
I'm getting an avg of 9-10km/l, with a 50/50 mix of city/highway driving.

E36 316i, original factory manual.
Y.O.M : 93
First Reg Date : Dec 93
Coe till : 08/2011
Mileage's ard 280+k km.
Sapphire black with tan interior.

Comes with 18" staggered rims, from Z4. Style #108.
Custom Short Shifter Kit
Angel Eyes, DIYed myself with the help of a few bros, definitely a much cleaner and neater job than getting it done elsewhere.
Mtech II steering wheel with custom wrap and red stitching.

Engine top overhaul done ard Aug 07.
Basically spent 2k on new hoses and belts and cleaning up the cylinder head.
Recaliberated fuel injectors and changed a faulty one.
New alternator, new radiator and new steering rack, all replaced over my 3 years of ownership. Oh, and new abs motor too.

Koni Yellow adjustable shocks.
Rear disc brakes conversion.
Front and Rear Steel brakelines.
New headlamps cos the wires in the old ones were gone.
Window film, LTA compliant.
Paintwork maintained myself with Meg's products.
//M Pedals

Looking at 17k.
But send me an offer anyway, via pm or sms or both if it pleases you.

Hi can i know how is the oil consumption and regular maitenance fee?

Fuel consumption's pretty gd, since mine's a 1.6l and a manual to boot.
I regularly get about 550km btw pumps. Each fill-up's about 55l thereabouts, so I'd say it's safely ard 9.5 - 10 km/l.

As for maintainence, well tt's a tough one to guesstimate.

Simple oil change with radiator flush will cost ard 250, depending on workshop and brand of engine oil. I do this at an interval of ard 10k km.

As far as ownership cost is concerned, it's pretty low. Add to tt a lower rd tax compared to larger CCs and you're getting a darn gd deal for an old BMW.

Just as a reassurance, I'd estimate tt I've spent more than 10k over the 3years swapping out wear and tear parts. So, with proper maintainence, I'd say you're gd to go for another 5yrs at least. Tt's definitely longer than the residual COE.
